What the account emojis mean
Needs review
Synced, matched, due, or uncategorized transactions need approval or cleanup.
Credit overspending
Credit-card spending has pushed at least one category below zero and needs to be covered.
Cash overspending
Cash or debit spending has pushed at least one category below zero and needs to be covered.
Slow import
A linked account has pending activity that has been waiting about three days for the bank to clear or post.
Pending transactions
The account has uncleared transactions that are still waiting to post or be checked.
Only the most important state shows first
Most of the time ReadyCents shows one emoji per account: review first, then credit overspending, cash overspending, slow import, and pending transactions.
If more than one problem sits unresolved for 7+ days, ReadyCents shows the full stack so it is obvious the account has been waiting too long.
When the emojis disappear
Review, approve, match, categorize, or post transactions and the review emoji clears. Cover overspending and the overspending emoji clears. Pending clears when the transaction posts or you mark it cleared.
Slow import appears after about 3 days of pending activity on a linked account. It is a bank-sync delay signal, not a budget math error.
