What the Calendar shows
The Calendar page lays every transaction out on a month grid by date. Posted transactions, scheduled future transactions, and recurring ones all show up on the day they hit (or are projected to hit).
It's the easiest way to spot weeks where bills cluster. For example, “the 1st and the 15th are loaded, but the 22nd is empty.” This helps you pace your discretionary spending around them.
Recurring transactions
When you create a transaction, the dialog has a Repeat dropdown. Pick weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, yearly, or a custom pattern, and ReadyCents will project the recurrence onto every future date that matches.
Future-dated recurrences are visible but inactive. They don't affect your account balances or Ready to Budget until they actually post on their date.
Click a day to add
Tap any day on the grid to open the transaction dialog pre-filled with that date. This is useful when you remember a charge that hit two Tuesdays ago. Click the day, type the amount and payee, and you're done.
The color of each pill on the calendar tells you what kind of transaction it is: inflows lean green, outflows lean red, scheduled or recurring ones are dimmer until they post.
