The bell icon
The bell in the sidebar (and at the top of the mobile Home screen) is your notification center. ReadyCents watches your budget in the background and drops a note there when something needs you: a bank connection breaks, an envelope goes overspent, a synced charge sits pending for over a week, a card payment is coming due, or money lands that's ready to assign.
Unread notifications highlight until you open the center. On mobile you can swipe a notification away, tap its ✕ based on your notification settings, select several at once, or clear the whole list.
Choose exactly what you get
There are twelve notification types, each with its own switch: bank connection problems, charges stuck pending, low account balance, overspent envelopes, synced transactions to review, transfers completed, pending charges cleared, scheduled transactions, card payments due, money ready to assign, and the weekly and monthly summaries.
Flip them in Settings → Notifications on the web, or from the sliders button on the mobile notification screen. The switches live on your account, not your device. Turn something off once and both the web bell and phone push respect it.
Push notifications on your phone
The mobile app can deliver the same alerts to your lock screen. Turn on Push notifications on this phonefrom the notification settings, approve the permission prompt, and you're set. Push honors the same twelve switches and never invents extra noise.
